Asda Pharmacy is currently providing the Meningitis B (MenB) vaccination at a discounted rate in all its branches until April 30. This decision comes after the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) confirmed that some of the recent cases linked to the Kent outbreak are MenB-related.
The vaccine is available to customers at £75 per dose, with a full course (dual dose) priced at £150 instead of the usual £179.96. Asda is focusing on prioritizing vulnerable groups, especially individuals aged between 18 and 25, by making the vaccines accessible.
Meningitis B is a rapidly acting and potentially life-threatening infection. Vaccination plays a crucial role in offering protection, with the initial dose starting to be effective within two weeks.

By offering the vaccine at cost price, Asda aims to make it convenient and affordable for those who may not have access through the NHS. This service is available at all Asda Pharmacies, with continuous monitoring of stock levels to cater to as many customers as possible.
Asda Pharmacy is providing both doses of the Meningitis B vaccination for £75 each until April 30, 2026, across all 242 Asda Pharmacies in the UK, operating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Customers are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance either through the Asda Pharmacy website or by contacting their local Asda Pharmacy directly if no available slots are showing.
