Devastating information regarding the final moments of Jordan Wright has surfaced. The former cast member of the reality TV show “The Only Way Is Essex” tragically passed away at the young age of 33, his body discovered in a drainage canal in Thailand.
Jordan, who was dismissed from the ITV show in 2019, had relocated to Thailand a few months prior to his untimely death, expressing his desire for a fresh beginning to his online followers. Local authorities, along with the Foreign Office, confirmed his demise.
Authorities stated that there were no indications of physical assault or a struggle on his body. He was found in a canal face down, dressed in a grey shirt and black trousers, without shoes. A keycard for the Coco Phuket Bangtao Hotel was found in his pocket, while his phone was located on a nearby canal bank.
Following a search of his hotel room, officials found no evidence of forced entry or any abnormalities. Jordan’s body was transported to Vachira Phuket Hospital for an autopsy.
Reportedly, a Burmese worker discovered Jordan’s body near Bang Tao Beach around 12:30 pm local time on a Saturday. A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office mentioned that they are assisting the family of the deceased British national and are coordinating with local authorities.
The police chief of Choeng Thale district station, Sutthirak Chuthong, identified Jordan as the guest who had been unresponsive to the hotel’s attempts to reach him. According to hotel records, he had checked in alone and was scheduled to check out on March 13 but never did.
CCTV footage showed Jordan pacing restlessly in front of the hotel before leaving the vicinity, leading to the location where his body was eventually found. Police suspect that Jordan may have passed away two days prior to the discovery of his body.
As the investigation continues, Police Lieutenant Colonel Suthirak Chuthong emphasized the need for official autopsy results before confirming the cause of death. Concerned parties are encouraged to contact the police station for further information.
Just a week before his demise, Jordan expressed feeling at home in Thailand on social media. Tributes poured in from various celebrities and fellow “TOWIE” stars, mourning his sudden passing.
