Family Appeals for Help in Search for Missing British Tourist

The family and close acquaintances of a British tourist who has gone missing abroad are expressing deep concern, stating that he disappeared without a phone and potentially without any money.

Authorities have been alerted about the disappearance of the Rangers supporter, as a friend disclosed that he was last spotted heading towards Benidorm’s Old Town. Donna Cullen, who mentioned that her brother Ryan is currently mourning the passing of his mother, issued a plea for assistance late last night on a local expat Facebook group, emphasizing the urgency of locating him safely.

Donna, residing in Saltcoats, North Ayrshire, Scotland, refuted rumors suggesting that Ryan had been located and was safe. She clarified on the group that he is still missing and urged everyone in the vicinity to stay vigilant as he is traveling alone without a phone and potentially without money.

A group of British women reported escorting Ryan back to his Benidorm hotel after encountering him in an inebriated state on the street. However, Donna revealed that he subsequently changed his accommodation, leading to challenges in tracking his whereabouts.

Seeking assistance from individuals staying at Apartmentos Finestrat in Old Town Benidorm, where Ryan is believed to be residing, Donna emphasized the language barriers hindering effective communication with the accommodation. She concluded her appeal by highlighting Ryan’s personal struggles and the family’s desperate plea for his safe return home.

Friends and family members, including Ryan’s friend Carly Thomson and his aunt, have also reached out on social media platforms and local bars in Benidorm, urging the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings of Ryan to ensure his safety and reunion with loved ones.
