Gust’s first known murder was the brutal killing of Catherine Thompson, a hitchhiker from South Africa. He lured her into the woods under false pretenses and violently ended her life, desecrating her remains in a heinous manner.
Subsequent victims fell prey to Gust’s escalating violence, culminating in the grotesque murder of sex worker Sandra Aus der Wiesche. He subjected her to torturous acts before ultimately taking her life in a chilling manner.
