Three individuals have been taken into custody on suspicion of homicide following the discovery of a body inside a wheeled waste container. The incident was reported to the West Midlands Police by a member of the public who found the body in a bin located at Cash’s Park off Daimler Road in Coventry at 5 pm on Friday. The deceased male is estimated to be aged between 40 and 50. A man and a woman in their forties, along with a man in his twenties, were apprehended overnight in Blackpool. Investigations are currently underway to formally identify the deceased individual and determine the cause of death.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Poole, leading the Major Crime Unit of the police force, stated, “Following the commencement of our inquiry over the weekend, we have made several arrests overnight. The detained individuals are currently in custody as we work towards piecing together the events leading to this incident.”
The police have disclosed details of the tattoos found on the deceased male, including a back tattoo depicting a cross with a serpent coiled around it inscribed with the words “little stardust.” Additionally, he had a tattoo on his right arm with the word “nan,” alongside a clover and the colors of the Irish flag.
