A fatal collision involving three vehicles on the A355 in Buckinghamshire has resulted in the death of a 15-year-old girl and the arrest of three teenagers, according to Thames Valley Police.
The incident, which took place at approximately 9:20 pm on Friday, involved a white Toyota Yaris, a grey Toyota Hilux, and a motorbike. The teenage girl was a passenger on the motorbike.
Following the crash, a 16-year-old boy from Beaconsfield, the rider of the motorbike, was taken into custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Additionally, two other teenagers, a 16-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old girl from High Wycombe, who were also on a motorbike, were arrested on the same charge.
Thames Valley Police revealed that they have informed the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) about the incident since a police vehicle was present nearby but not responding with lights on.
Lead investigator Oliver Cahill-Smith expressed condolences to the deceased girl’s family and urged witnesses to come forward. He also requested anyone with dash-cam footage from the area before the collision to assist in the investigation.
