Princess Beatrice & Eugenie Defend Royal Titles & Public Role

Princess Beatrice and Eugenie are standing firm in their decision not to retreat from public life amidst the ongoing scandal involving their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Calls have been growing for the princesses to relinquish their royal titles and exit the line of succession following Andrew’s recent arrest. Although their names appeared in the Epstein files alongside their parents, there is no implication of any wrongdoing on their part. However, questions have surfaced regarding their knowledge of Andrew and Fergie’s interactions with the convicted sex offender.

Despite the pressure and scrutiny, neither Beatrice nor Eugenie have publicly addressed their parents’ controversies. A close associate revealed that the princesses believe they should maintain their titles and continue with their public responsibilities. The friend emphasized that Beatrice and Eugenie have always upheld a strong sense of public duty and have willingly fulfilled their royal engagements when requested by Queen Elizabeth or other family members. They are determined not to shy away from their roles, emphasizing their innocence in the matter.

Eugenie recently resigned from her position as patron of Anti-Slavery International, a UK-based charity she has long supported, advocating for victims of modern slavery and trafficking. While keeping a low profile during their father’s ongoing investigation, it has been disclosed that the sisters still retain properties within royal palaces, a privilege granted through a longstanding agreement orchestrated by their father.

The arrangement involves undisclosed rental payments, with the funds contributing back to the sovereign grant that sustains the official duties of the Royal Family. This agreement has persisted despite Andrew’s implication in the Epstein scandal, leading to the loss of his titles and eviction from his residence at Royal Lodge.
