Britain is bracing for a new wave of snow in the coming days, as per the latest weather forecasts. A cold wintry spell is expected to return across the country by Sunday and Monday, with significant snowfall projected in various regions from Scotland down to the Midlands.
Northern parts of Scotland could see the heaviest snowfall, with up to 24cm expected in the north and northwest areas. In England, cities like Newcastle, Manchester, Blackpool, and Stoke-on-Trent are also at risk of receiving 2-3cm of snow, according to weather maps.
Northern Ireland is not exempt from the incoming snowstorms, with forecasts indicating intense snowfall rates on Sunday. The Met Office has issued fresh yellow snow warnings for parts of the UK, cautioning about blustery wintry showers affecting central and northwest Scotland.
The weather outlook from March 12-16 warns of frost followed by occasional showers and some wintry conditions. Several cities across Scotland and England are likely to be affected by the upcoming snowfall, including Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Newcastle, and Manchester among others.
