A grieving mother has honored her beloved son, referring to him as a ‘beautiful little superhero’ following his tragic death in a car accident at the tender age of seven.
The incident took place on A38 Kings Mill Road East in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, where young Logan Parker was struck by a vehicle. Despite the swift arrival of emergency services at 8:26 pm on Tuesday, March 10, the boy could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nottinghamshire Police has initiated an investigation into the matter and is appealing for witnesses to step forward. Expressing her love for Logan, his mother stated, “In memory of a boy frozen in time at the age of seven.”
She continued, “You were always adored and will never fade from our hearts. Your vibrant, mischievous spirit filled with love, joy, and curiosity will forever remain with us.”
The heartfelt tribute went on to describe Logan’s playful nature, infectious laughter, and creative talents. The family expressed deep sorrow at the loss of their ‘superhero’ and assured him that his memory will endure eternally.
Logan resided in the area, and his family is receiving support from specialized personnel during this difficult time. The driver involved in the collision cooperated with investigators at the scene.
Detective Inspector Jamie Moore from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit conveyed his condolences, emphasizing the gravity of the situation and the need for privacy for the grieving family. Witnesses, especially those with dashcam footage, are urged to come forward to aid the investigation by contacting 101 and quoting incident number 770 of March 10.
