“Winnington Road Leads UK’s Priciest Streets”

The latest data from property website Rightmove has unveiled the priciest streets in the UK, with all but one located in London. Topping the list is Winnington Road in Barnet, London, commanding an average asking price of £12,538,095. Following closely is Chester Square in Westminster, London, with an average asking price of £11,546,428, and The Bishops Avenue in Barnet, London, ranking third at £8,930,650.

Outside of London, East Road in Elmbridge, Surrey, emerges as the most expensive street in the UK, with an average price of £8,795,714, the sole non-London street in the top 20 ranking. Drumsheugh Gardens in Edinburgh leads as Scotland’s priciest street at £560,000, while Hollybush Road in Cardiff tops the charts in Wales at £1,237,500.

The analysis, based on Rightmove data, focuses on streets where a minimum of five homes were available for sale throughout January of this year. Colleen Babcock, a property expert at Rightmove, noted the dominance of London addresses in the top 20, underlining the capital’s stronghold in the ultra-prime property market. She highlighted Elmbridge in Surrey as the standout location outside London, representing the only non-London area to feature in the elite list of prestigious streets.
