Peter Crouch firmly rejected the idea of expanding their family when Abbey Clancy expressed interest in having another child. The former English footballer and the model have been a couple for nearly two decades.
After dating for five years, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire in 2011. Presently, they are proud parents to Sophia, 14, Liberty Rose, 10, Johnny, seven, and Jack, six.
The couple often shares insights into their relationship through their joint podcast, The Therapy Crouch. During a recent Mother’s Day conversation, Abbey, aged 40, admitted that she would like to have a fifth child.
Abbey suggested, “Pete, let’s have another baby. It’s Mother’s Day, let me be a mother once more.” Despite Peter, 44, expressing his disapproval, Abbey persisted, saying, “Why are you refusing? No more dogs, no more cats.”
Peter firmly responded, “I am not interested in having another baby, babe.” He pointed out, “You keep bringing home dogs. How many dogs do we have now? Currently, we have four, including Karen’s [Abbey’s mom] dog.”
Meanwhile, Abbey recently mentioned that she is open-minded about intimate topics. In a discussion with sex educator Alix Fox, Abbey explored unconventional “fantasy” products for couples, including one shaped like a tentacle.
Alix remarked about the unusual item, stating, “In the past, such products were only found on niche fetish websites, not mainstream stores like Anne Summers.” However, Alix revealed that Lovehoney has witnessed a significant 244% increase in the sales of fantasy toys this year, attributing it to the influence of popular culture series like Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings.
She explained, “I believe more people are now interested in fantasy and mythical creatures due to certain TV shows, books, and erotica.” Abbey, on the other hand, found adult toys “a bit intimidating.” In response, Alix noted, “For some, the thrill of the monster’s aspect is appealing, imagining being overwhelmed by something bigger and more powerful.”
This led Abbey to share her own daring fantasy, expressing, “I prefer the prince on a horse. I’m not conservative, I’m open to all discussions.” She admitted that the only time Peter seemed jealous was when she watched a Viking-themed show, stating, “The Vikings are just something else.”
Abbey suggested that Peter dress up as a “sex Viking” to add excitement to their intimacy, as reported by the Sun. She said, “I would love to see you get a little jealous.” Peter jokingly mentioned that he might resemble Rodney Trotter more than a seductive Viking.
