A woman, identified as Ivanna Ortiz, was apprehended for allegedly shooting at Rihanna’s residence in Los Angeles. Ortiz, a Bible influencer, had reportedly made threatening remarks towards the singer on social media before the incident. She even tagged Rihanna on Instagram with what was perceived as a menacing message.
Ortiz, 35, who also shares daily Bible readings on her YouTube channel, had posted a photo of herself in a leopard print top on Instagram, directing provocative comments towards Rihanna. In one of her videos from two months ago, she referred to Rihanna as a “witch” and made alarming statements about their futures.
Attorney Hal Roen, who has past connections to Ortiz’s ex-husband, described her as “articulate” and “convincing” but noted her tendency for unusual behavior. Meanwhile, reports indicated that Rihanna was seen leaving for the airport following the shooting incident.
The police confirmed that no injuries were reported after approximately 10 shots were fired from a white Tesla towards Rihanna’s property. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown as investigations continue. Rihanna had acquired the luxurious five-bedroom mansion in 2021, situated on a vast lot in the secluded mountains.
Eyewitnesses in the neighborhood recounted the alarming sequence of events, emphasizing the unusual nature of such violence in the area. Despite attempts to reach out to Rihanna’s representatives and the Beverly Hills Police Department, there has been no response so far.
