“Cousins Coincidence: Three Babies Born on Same Day!”

In a remarkable turn of events, a hospital witnessed an exceptional coincidence as three cousins were all born on the same day.

A family from Bridgeyate in South Gloucestershire experienced what they described as a “surreal” day when a sister gave birth to twins, Frankie and Connie, while her brother welcomed his son, Maddox, just hours later.

The twins arrived slightly earlier than expected, with Maddox being born on his due date. The family expressed their gratitude towards the Royal United Hospitals (RUH) Bath NHS Foundation Trust in Somerset for their exceptional care on this highly emotional day.

Georgie, the mother of the twins, shared that the family had jokingly discussed the unlikely scenario of all becoming parents on the same day, which eventually became a reality. She expressed how special it was to have all the cousins born together and be able to share the experience in the hospital.

Acknowledging the rarity of the occurrence, a hospital spokesperson highlighted the unique statistics, mentioning that identical twins are uncommon at 1 in 250 births, and only a small percentage of babies are born on their due date.

Kiera, Maddox’s mother, humorously commented on how the girl cousins are likely to be influential, given Maddox’s older sister and girl cousins. Billy, the father of Maddox, expressed his disbelief at the situation and joked about the financial burden of multiple birthday celebrations.

This unique event follows a previous case where twins, conceived on the same day, were born five years apart and displayed distinct differences. Siobhan Rigby and her husband, Vincent, had a similar experience with their children, Charlotte and Noah, who were born from embryos created simultaneously but had separate births years apart.
