A group of 60 firefighters have responded to a series of run-down structures in the southeast of London following a fire incident. The fire, located on Fraser Road in Bexley, prompted the dispatch of eight fire engines to combat the blaze. The Brigade’s Control Office received the initial report of the fire just before 3 am, leading to the mobilization of crews from various fire stations to the scene.
The firefighting operation is currently ongoing as firefighters work diligently to contain the fire. The cause of the blaze, which started in the early hours of the morning, is yet to be determined, according to the London Fire Brigade. Approximately 60 firefighters are actively engaged in tackling the fire at a commercial property on Fraser Road, as per the latest update from the fire service.
Confirming the accuracy of the reports received, the London Fire Brigade stated that a vacant building on Fraser Road in Bexley was indeed ablaze. Motorists in the vicinity are advised to steer clear of the area due to road closures in place as firefighters continue their efforts to extinguish the fire.
